Annnnnnnnd Umbrella didn’t make it to the next round. Sigh.

I’ve been going to Salty Cupcakes a lot recently, and it’s pretty super-rad. I apologize ahead of time if you see “TAHK0” compete in any tournaments.

Salty Cupcakes takes place every Thursday night at Frootsi (in person) or on EightySixed’s Twitch stream (not-so in person).

Oh, and the smoothies are amazing.

I decided that I didn’t like her old hair.

It kinda looked April O’neil-y, haha. That’s not a bad thing, but it was a little too 80’s cartoon.

But, while messing around a little, I think I definitely like the more scene/Hayley Williams look. :] Of course I have a lot of work left, but I’m stoked that I’m closer to putting her in the game!

So someone actually really made fanart of my game character…

Dawn of the Final Day.

I doodled this around 12am on December 21st, 2012.
Cuz, you know, the apocalypse- Hahaha :]

The two things I’m most proud about this are the Moon’s eyes/irises, and that I managed to get the Skull Kid’s pose mostly right with such few pixels (which was a paiiinnnn). But yeah, if it wasn’t obvious from my last post, I love the Skull Kid, and I love the Legend of Zelda, haha.

I’ve always really liked the Skull Kid from The Legend of Zelda.

He’s just mysterious and creepy enough to make you curious constantly, and that makes him super-cool. So yeah, I decided to doodle him, haha! :]

One of my favorite games of all time.

The music is rad, the story is great, and the little details make you completely immersed in the world. Honestly, this game had a lot to do with why I became a pixel artist :]
